Fostering Creativity in Kazakhstani Classrooms: New Research Publication

CARCEIT is proud to announce the recent publication by Dr. Laura Ibrayeva, Postdoctoral Research Fellow, and Janet Helmer, Associate Professor at Nazarbayev University Graduate School of Education. Their paper, titled "Meeting Students’ Needs Matters: Kazakhstani Teachers’ Beliefs about Developing a Creative Environment", has been published in Thinking Skills and Creativity.

In this insightful study, Dr. Ibrayeva and Prof. Helmer explore the beliefs of Kazakhstani teachers regarding the development of a creative environment in schools. By amplifying teachers' voices, the paper highlights how fostering creativity and addressing the diverse needs of students can significantly enhance the learning process.

This publication contributes to the growing body of knowledge on how educators can cultivate creativity in their classrooms and underscores the importance of adapting teaching methods to better meet student needs. It is a vital addition to the field of educational research and aligns with CARCEIT’s ongoing efforts to support innovation and excellence in education.

We are proud to support and highlight such impactful research that helps drive forward creative educational practices in Kazakhstan and beyond.
