On September 29, 2025, the Central Asian Research Centre for Educational Innovation and Transformation (CARCEIT) at Nazarbayev University Graduate School of Education hosted a guest lecture by Dr. Solomon Arulraj David, Associate Professor of Education at the British University in Dubai.
The lecture, titled “Reinventing Internationalisation of Education in an Increasingly Turbulent World,” explored how higher education institutions must rethink approaches to internationalisation in light of growing global challenges.
Dr. David emphasized the importance of resilience, adaptability, and international collaboration in education, highlighting ways universities can strengthen global connections while responding to turbulence in political, economic, and social spheres.
The session brought together faculty, students, and researchers who engaged in a stimulating discussion on the future of internationalisation and its implications for Kazakhstan and beyond.
CARCEIT thanks Dr. David for sharing his expertise and all participants for contributing to this important dialogue.
